FORT WORTH, Texas (September 22, 2023) – The weekend on-track schedule is now available for the Sept. 23-24 Autotrader EchoPark Automotive 400 NASCAR Playoffs doubleheader at Texas Motor Speedway.
Texas Motor Speedway has been an annual host for the NASCAR Playoffs since 2005 and this edition will feature the Andy’s Frozen Custard 300 Xfinity Series race on Saturday, Sept. 23, and the Autotrader EchoPark Automotive 400 Cup Series race on Sunday, Sept. 24. Both races begin at 2:30 p.m. CT and will be aired nationally on the USA Network, PRN and SiriusXM Radio.
The two-day weekend opens Saturday with both series on track, beginning with Xfinity Series practice (9:35 a.m.) and qualifying (10:05 p.m.). The Cup Series follows with practice (11:35 a.m.) and qualifying (12:20 p.m.).
Saturday’s on-track activity closes with the 200-lap/300-mile Andy’s Frozen Custard 300, the Xfinity Series second Round of 12 playoff race beginning at 2:30 p.m.
The weekend culminates with Sunday’s 267-lap/400.5-mile Autotrader EchoPark Automotive 400 NASCAR Cup Series opening Round of 12 playoff race at 2:30 p.m. In addition to the national broadcast partners, the race also will be aired live locally on 95.9 The Ranch radio station.
Texas Motor Speedway’s always-busy events schedule is well under way. Upcoming events in 2023 include: Autotrader EchoPark Automotive 400 NASCAR Playoffs weekend (Sept. 23-24), Goodguys’ Summit Racing Lone Start Nationals (Sept. 29-Oct. 1), Speedway Children’s Charities Smoke Show (Oct. 11) and Gordy’s Hwy 30 Music Fest (Oct. 19-22).
